The organisers of the brand new trapNET cycling and lifestyle event announced today that Medihelp Medical Scheme is on board as the naming rights sponsor. Director of Trio Events Marius Opperman said, “We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership with Medihelp, as this event fits in well with both parties’ strategy by getting more people to lead an active lifestyle. We believe that the Medihelp trapNET weekend of events will create this platform and add an element of entertainment, with the expo and the many other activities offered”.
The Medihelp trapNET lifestyle expo will take place from 20 to 22 July at SuperSport Park in Centurion and will offer an 85km road cycling race on Sunday, 22 July as well as a trapNET Junior cycling event for the kids on Saturday, 21 July.
“Medihelp Medical Scheme is excited to be associated with this new event in Pretoria, where Medihelp’s head office is also located. The Medihelp trapNET event has all the makings of becoming one of the great cycling events in Gauteng,” said Heyn van Rooyen, Medihelp’s Principal Officer. “Medihelp believes in supporting events that promote and encourage healthy and active lifestyles as part of our marketing efforts”.
Free entry to the Medihelp trapNET event is available to all Medihelp members who are registered on HealthPrint, Medihelp’s wellness programme, and on Medihelp Multisport, the Scheme’s sports club for cyclists.
